Name of the Post & Total No. of Vacancies :
- Upper Division Clerks (UDC) : 111 Vacancies
- Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) : 101 Vacancies
Education Qualification :
- Upper Division Clerk (UDC) : Any Degree or equivalent qualification with Working knowledge of Computer including use of office suites and databases.
- Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) : Pass in 1oth Class / SSLC / Matriculation or equivalent qualification
Age Limit : (As on 31-1-2012) : Minimum 18 years – Maximum 27 years for UDC & 25 years for MTS.
Pay Scale / Salary : Pay Band – I : Rs. 5200 – 20200/-
Fees : Rs. 225/- for UDC & Rs. 125/- for MTS (No Fees for SC/ST/PH/Women/Ex-S/Departmental candidates) payable through Challan (Download link provided below) at any branch of Union Bank of India, A/c No. 422301010037579 OR in the form of Demand Draft / Banker's Cheque drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favour of The Regional Director, ESI Corporation, Ahmedabad, payable at Ahmedabad.

How to Apply : First through Online Application & through Registered / Speed post
- Download the challan for payment of fees (if applicable) from the link provided below.
- Deposit the requisite fees & collect journal No. etc
- Visit the Online Application Link provided below
- Fill all the details in Online Application &submit.
- Take a print out of the computer generated application form
- Put your signature in full and with clear thumb impression in the space provided in the application
- enclose all the required documents in an envelop cover
- On the envelop cover write “Application for the Post of “UDC-2012 or MTS-2012”
- Send to the following address through Registered post / Speed Post so as to reach before the closing date.
- The Regional Director, Regional Office, E.S.I. Corporation, Panchdeep Bhavan, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad - 380014.

- Last date to Apply Online : 31.01.2012
- Last date to receive Applications by Post : 07.02.2012 upto 6.15 PM.
- Tentative Date of Written Examination for UDC : 01-04-2012 (Sunday)
- Tentative Date of Computer Skill Test for UDC : 17-06-2012 (Sunday).
- Tentative Date of Written Exam for MTS : 29-04-2012 (Sunday).

Yes, you can apply for multiple states provided you have the desired qualification required for the post. Some states ask for knowledge of local language. So read the notification carefully before applying.
