It is one of the largest Provident Fund Institutions in the world in terms of members & volume of financial transactions. EPFO requires more than 1900 candidates for recruitment as Social Security Agents. There are vacancies for SSA in 21 states of India including Andhra Pradesh, Delhi, Gujarat, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal. There are 1867 Vacancies under general quota & 76 Vacancies for Sports Quota. EPFO is recruiting SSAs through Direct Recruitment.

Education Qualification : Degree in any discipline with typing speed of 5000 Words per hour for Data Entry Work. Certificate in computer Training is desirable.
Age Limit : (As on 09-03-2012) Minimum 18 Years - Maximum 27 Years.
Fee : Rs. 315/- (Rs. 90/- for SC/ST/PH/Ex-S) Payable through the Fee Payment challn at any branch of State Bank of India.
Pay Scale / Salary : Rs. 5,200 – 20200 + Grade Pay of Rs. 2400
Selection Procedure : Written Examination – Skill Test
Exam Centers : 32 centers across 21 States of India.
