    Government of Karnataka has instructed the Karnataka Examinations authority to postpone the dates of Common Entrance Test conducted for getting admissions to Medical, Engineering, Dental & other professional courses. KEA has issued CET 2012-13 on February 29th, 2012. The Date for CET was fixed on May 3rd, 4th & 5th, 2012. Now due to the delay in PU Answer script valuation by lecturers, the CET Exam dates are postponed to 21st & 22nd May, 2012. CET_2011

The minimum qualification fixed for PU College Lecturer post is Post-graduation and B.Ed degree. After lots of opposition & criticism received for making B.Ed compulsory Govt. has decided to appoint candidates without B.Ed qualification for PUC Lecturer Post. However such candidates should pass the B.Ed degree on their own cost within 4 years of appointment. This qualification will be considered as only eligibility for applying for the post.
