Eligibility:
For admission to any of the above Integrated First Degree programmes Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognized Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
- The candidate should have obtained a minimum of aggregate 80% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in 12th examination, with at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects and should have adequate proficiency in English.
- Students who are appearing for 12th examination in 2010 or who have passed 12th Examination in 2009 only are eligible to appear in the BITSAT-2010 test.
- Students who have passed 12th examination in 2008 or earlier are NOT eligible to appear in BITSAT-2010.
- Students who are presently studying in BITS at any of its campuses are not eligible to appear in BITSAT-2010 Admissions will be made purely on merit.
Application procedure:
- Interested candidates should register for BITSAT 2010 by applying online in the prescribed application form available at http://www.bitsadmission.com/. The printout of the filled form along with prescribed fee Rs 1000/- (Rs 500 for female candidates) be sent to the Admission Officer, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan, PIN 333031.
- Application forms can also be obtained by post till 21 January 2010 by sending a crossed demand draft for Rs 1100/- (Rs 600 for female candidates) to the Admission Officer. Demand draft be made drawn in favor of Birla Institute of Technology and Science and payable at State Bank of India (Pilani), State Bank of Bikaner and Jaipur (Pilani) or UCO Bank (Pilani) or ICICI Bank (Jhunjhunu).
