Education Qualification :

Pass in graduation in any discipline with 55% or more marks in aggregate from a recognized University in India (50% or more in the case of SC/ST/PWD Candidates).

Degrees which are considered equivalent to graduation i.e. Chartered Accountant (CA), Cost Accountant (ICWA), Company Secretary (CS) as also qualifications in Management like PGDBM (Two years course from a reputed University) with 55% or more marks in aggregate (50% or more in the case of SC/ST/PWD).

Essential Qualification : Proficiency in Computers is essential.

(Candidates who have studied Computer Application as one of the subjects at Graduation/Post Graduation level are deemed to have working knowledge in Computers. For such candidates no separate computer certificate course is necessary)

Age Limit : Min. 21 years Max. 30 years (Relaxation Applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates)

HOW TO APPLY :

Candidates are required to apply online only through website www.syndicatebank.in
Candidates are required to have a valid personal e-mail ID. (To Create Free E-MAil ID’s Visit GMail, Yahoo Mail, Rediff Mail
Applicants are first required to go to the Bank’s website ‘www.syndicatebank.in’ and click on the link “Recruitment” Under Downloads..
Thereafter, open the Recruitment Notification entitled “SYNDICATE BANK PROBATIONARY OFFICERS’ RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2010-11”.
Take a Print of the entire Recruitment Notification, including the ‘FEES PAYMENT CHALLAN’.
(vii) Fill in the Fee Payment Challan in a clear and legible handwriting in BLOCK LETTERS.
(viii) Go to the nearest Syndicate Bank Branch with the Fee payment Challan and pay, in Cash, the appropriate Application Fee in CBS Account Nos.01111150000481 or 01111150000496 or 01111150000501 with Manipal Branch in the name & style of “SYNDICATE BANK PROBATIONARY OFFICERS’ RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2010-11”. The details of fee to be paid is indicated below :

For SC/ST/PWD	For all others (including OBC)

Obtain the Applicant’s Counterfoil Copy of the Application Fee Payment Challan duly authenticated by the Bank with (a) Branch Name & BIC No, (b) Transaction id/Scroll number, (c) Date of Deposit & amount filled by the Branch Official.
Candidates are now ready to Apply Online by re-visiting the Recruitment Link on the Bank’s website and going to the sublink titled “ONLINE APPLICATION FOR SYNDICATE BANK PROBATIONARY OFFICERS’ RECRUITMENT PROJECT-2010-11” to open up the appropriate Online Application Format. All the fields in the online Application format should be filled up carefully.
Carefully fill in the details from the Recruitment Application Fee Payment Challan in the Online Application Form at the appropriate places.
Original counterfoil of the fee payment challan will have to be submitted with the Call Letter at the time of written test. Without original counterfoil of the fee payment challan the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the written test. Candidates are also advised to keep two photocopies of the fee payment challan. One photocopy has to be submitted at the time of Pre-Exam training and the other may be retained by the candidate for future use.
The name of the candidate or his/her father/husband etc. should be spelt correctly in the application as it appears in the certificates/mark sheets. Any change / alteration found may disqualify the candidature.
CANDIDATES SHOULD NOT SUBMIT A PRINTOUT OF THE APPLICATION / CHALLAN TO THE BANK AT THIS STAGE
The Application printout along with the Xerox copy of the challan and required copies of documents should be kept ready for submission if selected for Interview.
Please note that the above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying. No other mode of application or incomplete steps would be accepted and such applications would be rejected.
