Karnataka CET Counseling Seat Selection Process on hold

The Karnataka CET Counseling and Seat Selection Process for Engineering and Architecture courses are postponed. Many of the Engineering Colleges in Karnataka has not got green signal for continuation of engineering colleges, inclusion of courses, increase in intake of students and other related issues from AICTE. The AICTE, which regulates all engineering and technical institutions in the country, sought additional information from engineering colleges of Karnataka regarding the same.


Since AICTE has not taken any decision, the  Govt. of Karnataka has directed KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) to put hold on the CET Counseling / Seat selection process for Engineering and Architecture courses. The Seat Selection Process was scheduled to start from June 18th.

KEA is waiting for AICTEs final decision. Once the Decision is out, then KEA will prepare the new seat matrix and Counseling Schedule. The same will be published at KEA Website and CET Website.
