Common Entrance Examination for Design (CEED) is an all India examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay), on behalf of the Ministry of Human Resources Development, Government of India.

Important Dates:
Access to ONLINE (Internet) Application : 20th Sept. - 25th Oct. 2010
Last Date for submitting of ONLINE Application (Web site closure) : 25th Oct. 2010
Last Date for Receipt of Completed ONLINE Application at the GATE Office : Monday, 1st Nov. 2010
Date of Examination : Sunday, 16h January 2011 (1400 to 1700 Hrs)
Announcement of Results : Friday, 25th March, 2011

Eligibility for CEED 2011:

Candidates must either have completed or be expecting to complete any of the following, by July 2011:
(i) Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Architecture / Design/ Interior Design, or equivalent
(ii) Professional Diploma in Design (NID/CEPT, or equivalent)
(iii) B.F.A. (4 year professional programme, after 10+2)
(iv) G.D. Art (5 year programme after 10th) with one year professional experience
(v) Master’s degree in Arts / Science / Computer Applications

CEED Application Form may be submitted only by ONLINE (Internet based) ONLINE submission can be made by accessing the website www.iitb.ac.in/gate. The ONLINE application fee (non refundable) is ` 950/- (` 475/- for SC/ST/PD Applicants).
