Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced Team India the list of players for ICC World Cup 2011. The list is with full of surprises and invites discussions all over the country. Many players with major injury are selected for the team while many others who are fit and in form are dropped.

The major critic is that for the first time no players from Karnataka has got place in the team. Till date Karnataka players have played in all the World Cups from 1975. This time not even a single player from Karnataka is succeeded in getting a place.
