Steel Authority of India, a Maharatna PSU and one of the largest steel producer in India invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to 18 vacant posts of Operator-cum-Technician & 21 vacant posts of Attendant-cum-Technician in Boiler Operation Division of the SAIL IISCO Steel Plant, Burnpur, Burdwan Dist of West Bengal.

Job Details :

Operator-cum-Technician : 18 Posts (Post Code - OCT- BO)

• Education Qualification : Diploma in Engg. with minimum 2nd Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
• Age Limit : (as on 1/10/2011) Not more than 30 years.
• Pay Scale : S-3 ( Scale of pay: Rs.9160 -3%- 13150)

Attendant-cum-Technician : 21 posts (Post Code - ACT-BO)

• Education Qualification : Matriculation and ITI with at least 2nd Class Certificate of Boiler Competency.
• Age Limit : (as on 1/10/2011) Not more than 30 years.
• Pay Scale : S-1 (Scale of pay : Rs.8630- 3%- 12080)

Fee : Rs. 250/- (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft purcased from any Nationalized Bank payable at Burnpur drawn in favour of ‘Steel Authority of India Ltd - IISCO Steel Plant’.

Selection Procedure : Written test followed by Interview and/or Trade Test.

• Fill the application form in BLOCK LETTERS IN ENGLISH ONLY.
• Attach necessary self attested copies of certificates and testimonials for proof of Age, Qualification, Experience, Caste, Certificate of Boiler Competency etc, along with recent passport size colored photographs duly signed at the back of the photograph.
