The Commonwealth Games 2010 from Delhi, India began today at 7:00 PM with an Opening Ceremony extravaganza of which the Indian people can be proud. Pratibha Pahil, the Indian President, and Prince Charles declared the Games open.
The Opening ceremony was spectacular and praised by everyone. Central to Sunday's ceremony was an enormous aerostat or helium balloon, a vast inflatable backdrop to all the light and noise and supposedly the largest of its kind anywhere in the world.
