Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission invites applications from the eligible candidates / citizens of India for recruitment to the vacancies in different Departments of H.P. on the prescribed application forms.

 Important Dates :

• Last Date to Receive Applications : 03-01-2011.by 5.00 P.M.
• Last Date to Receive Applications from Far Flung Areas :18-01-.2011 by 5.00P.M.

Examination Fees:-  General/ (Gen. Orthopaedically Handicapped/ Hearing Impaired. & Gen.WFF.of H.P.) = Rs. 250/-. SC/ST&OBC of H.P. = Rs. 63/-

Vacancies Details:

1. Department of Industries : Mining Officer, Class-II, (Gazetted) On Contract Basis : Number of Post(s):-04 (General =03, SC of H.P.=01)
2. Department of Environment & Scientific Technologies : Assistant Environmental Engineer Class-1 (Gazetted) : Number of Post(s):-03 General
3. Department of Technical Education Vocational and Industrial Training, H.P. : Director/ Principal (Engineering College), Class-I Gazetted Number of Posts:-=01 General (Backlog)

HOW TO APPLY:-

• Candidates are required to Download Application Format.
• Demand draft for examination fee may be prepared in favour of Secretary, H.P. Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-2, payable at Shimla.
• Paste your one recent photograph, sign in the specified box and send the Application Form duly signed by you (along with Demand Draft) by Registered / Speed Post on or before 03-01-2011 to “ The Secretary, H.P. Public Service Commission, Nigam Vihar, Shimla-171002” The application, complete in all respect can also be deposited in the office of the Commission in person. The benefit of additional time prescribed to candidates of remote / Tribal areas will be given only when the applications are sent through post offices from such areas. No such benefit will be given if applications are received through courier or by hand.
• In service candidates may apply to the Commission with advance copy alongwith requisite fee with information to their Head of Departments/Employer for issuing NOC. No in service candidate will be interviewed unless he/she brings NOC from the concerned employer.
• Candidates of reserved category of states other than H.P. will be considered as General category candidates provided they have deposited fee Rs 250/-
• Copies of following documents may be attached with the applications:-
• Matriculation certificate or its equivalent, showing the date of birth.
• Degree / detailed marks certificates of essential educational qualifications and experience, if any.
• S.C./S.T./ OBC certificates. The S.C./S.T./OBC certificates must be on paternal lineage on the proforma prescribed by the Govt. and issued by competent authority of the concerned area in Himachal Pradesh.
