Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) invites Applications from eligible candidates who have loosed Land for KRCL Project (whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway project) for recruitment to 43 vacant posts of Assistant Loco Pilots in Mechanical Department, 45 vacant posts of Assistant Station Master & 45 vacant posts of Pointman in Operating Department of Konkan Railway Corporation Ltd. (KRCL). www.konkanrailway.com. Educational Qualification :
- Assistant Loco Pilot : ITI / Act Apprenticeship in Fitter, Electrician, Instrument Mechanic, Mill Wright Maintenance Mechanic, Mechanic (Radio/TV), Electronics Mechanic, Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Wireman, Tractor Mechanic, Armature and Coil Winder, Mechanic Diesel, Heat Engine, Turner, Mechanist Refrigeration and A/C Mechanic Trades OR Diploma in Automobile Engineering / Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
- Assistant Station Master : Regular 3 years Graduation in any discipline
- Pointsman : Minimum 10th Pass.
Age Limit ( as on 01/07/2012) :
- Asst. Loco Pilot / Pointsman : Minimum 18 years - Maximum 32 years
- Assistant Station master : Minimum 18 years - Maximum 35 years
(5 years relaxation applicable to SC/ST Candidates)
Selection Process :
- ASM / ALP : Written Test - Medical Test
- Pointsman : Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - Medical Test
