- Helper Engg./Works Engineering : 18 Vacancies
- Helper (Tele & Signal) S&T : 124 Vacancies
- Helper Mech. C&W/DSL/Loco : 176 Vacancies
- Helper Electrical TRD/TRS/TL : 131 Vacancies
- Helper Electrical (General) : 68 Vacancies
- Others : 213 Vacancies
Age Limit (As on 01-01-2013) : Minimum 18 Years - Maximum 33 Years.
Pay Scale / Salary : PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay of Rs 1800/-
Selection Procedure : Written Exam - Physical Efficiency Test - Document Verification - Medical Test
Fees : Rs 40/-. (No Fees for SC / ST / Economically Backward Classes / PH / Ex-S / Women / Minority Candidates) Payable in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order only drawn in favor of “Dy. CPO-Recruitment, Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway Allahabad” payable at “Allahabad.

- Candidates should fill the application in their own handwriting
- Affix recent passport size photograph
- Attach copies of relevant documents.
- Put signature and left thumb impression at the space provided in the Application.
- On envelop write “Application For Group 'D' Posts.”
