Public Service Commission of West Bengal invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistant Engineer (Civil) in Engineering Departments of various govt. agencies in Wes Bengal. There are vacancies for Civil Assistant Engineers in West Bengal Service Of Engineers Under Public Works Department, Irrigation And Waterways Department, West Bengal Public Health Engineering Service (Civil) Under Public Health Engineering Department, West Bengal Service Of Engineers (Municipal Engineering) Under Municipal Affairs Department & West Bengal Service Of Engineers (Civil) Under Panchayat And Rural Development Department.
Important Dates :
- Closing date for receipt of application : 29-11-2011.
- Date of Combined Competitive Exam : February, 2012
Qualification : Degree in Civil Engineering with Ability to read, write and speak in Bengali
Pay Scale : (PB-4) Rs.9,000/- to 40,500/- + G.P. Rs. 5,400/-.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2011) : Not more than 32 years.
Fee : Rs.210/- (No Fee for SC/ST/PWD) in the form of crossed Indian Postal Order.
Selection Procedure : Combined Competitive Examination comprising Written Examination (Multiple choice objective type) followed by Interview.
