Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (www.trb.tn.nic.in) invites applications from eligible candidates for Direct recruitment to 34 posts of Assistant Elementary Educational Officer in Tamil Nadu Elementary Educational Subordinate Service.

Educational Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Tamil, English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, History, Geography through 10+2+3 pattern with B.Ed. Degree. Must have studied Tamil under Part - I or Part - II up to SSLC.

Age Limit : (as on 01.07.2011) : Not more than  35 years.

Pay Scale : Rs. 9300 - 34800 GP 4500

Examination Fee : Rs. 300/- (Rs. 150/- for SC/ST ) payable in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Teachers Recruitment Board, Chennai” payable at Chennai. DDs can be purchased from State Bank of India / Indian Bank / Indian Overseas Bank / Corporation Bank.

Examination pattern : The Question Paper will be of Objective Type with Multiple-choice Questions. The single paper for 150 marks contains questions from one main subject (of the degree)(Carries 110 marks) with Education Methodology (carries 30 marks) & General Knowledge (10 Marks).
