The Karnataka CET – 2010 issue is resolved today. The Seat Selection process will commence from July 7, Said Higher Education Minister Aravind Limbavali. The Final Decision regarding Continuation of Colleges, Courses, Increase in Seats etc will be published in AICTE Website by 26th June Evening.

The Final Seat Matrix will be available by 28th June. As per the schedule the Counseling / Seat Selection process was to commence from June 18th. While AICTE asked for More information regarding existing colleges, which forced govt. to put hold on the process. Now after talks with Central Education Minister Kapil Sibal, the issue is solved and finally the seat selection process starts from July 7th.

The classes for Engineering and Architecture will commences from September 1, 2010 as per the schedule. So the time period available for the seat selection is very less. To complete the process within time, CET counseling will continue without holidays & Time is extended from 7:30 PM to 11 PM. Daily 2800 candidates will choose seats to complete  the process within time.
