The counseling for Seat Selection for Engineering and Architecture courses in Karnataka was halted by Karnataka Examination Authority citing the AICTE call for clarification from colleges to continue the Engineering Colleges, Courses, Addition of Courses and Increase of Seats.

AICTE will meet on June 26, 2010 to discus the issue. So soon the issue might solve and make way to the counseling process. Karnataka Higher Education Minister Aravind Limbavali added that a committee of officers will be sent from Higher Education Department if necessary to speed up the process.
