Tamilnadu Public Service Commission announced a Supplement Notification to the Commission’s Notification / Advertisement No.248 dated 21.07.2010 inviting applications for the Post of Village Administrative Officer included in the Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service.

• Last Date to Apply Online : 26.12.2010 at 5.45 P.M

The Commission in its Notification/Advertisement No.248, dated 21.07.2010 invited OMR applications for direct recruitment to the post of Village Administrative Officer included in Tamil Nadu Ministerial Service against 2653 vacancies (including 1077 SC/ST shortfall vacancies).

In continuation of the said Notification / Advertisement, applications are invited for the additional vacancies upto 5.45 P.M. on 28.12.2010. There are additionally 831 vacancies are added to the previously said notification.

Candidates who have already applied in response to the Commission’s Notification No.248, dated 21.07.2010, whose applications were received in the Commission’s office on or before 20.08.2010 need not apply again with reference to this supplemental notification. Candidates, whose applications were received after the last date (i.e. 20.08.2010) and whose applications were rejected should apply again in response to this supplemental notification.

Scale of Pay : Rs.5,200 – 20,200 + Grade Pay Rs.2,000/- (PB1)( P.M.)

Candidates should send their application to the Controller of Examinations, Office of the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission, No.1 Greams Road, Chennai-6 well in advance, so as to reach the Commission’s Office on or before 5.45 P.M. on 28.12.2010. The facility for applying on line will be closed on 26.12.2010 at 5.45 P.M.
