Name of the Post : Police Constable

Total No. of Vacancies : 1000 Posts

Education Qualification : Passed Madhyamik Pariksha (X standard / 10th / SSLC )

Age Limit : (As on 01.01.2011) Minimum 18 years – Maximum 32 years

Pay Scale / Salary : Rs. 5400 - 25200 + Grade Pay of Rs.2600 + allowances

Selection Procedure : Physical Measurement Test – Physical Efficiency Test  – Written Test – Interview – Medical Examination – Police Verification

• Availability of Application Forms : The application forms will be available from the offices of Superintendent of Police of Purulia, Bankura, Paschim Mednipore and Darjeeling Districts and also from SDPO Offices or Sub-divisional Police Stations at Sub-divisional headquarters of those districts on production of proof of belonging to ST Community.
• Submitting Applications : The Filled in application form in all respect should be enclosed in an envelope of size 34 x 26cms (13 inch x 10 inch) with copies of all the relevant documents like Marks Cards, Certificates etc. should be sent OR submitted in person to the following address:
