Karnataka Civil Food Supply & Consumer Affairs Department (http://ahara.kar.nic.in) recently initiated a new drive to find and disconnect all the invalid & Illegal APL, BPL Ration Cards & their by LPG Connections in Karnataka. To find such cards it also linked the cards with Power Supply & LPG connection & asked all the LPG distributors to collect Current Bill, Ration Card copies to check the validity of the connection. Now the status of LPG Connection validity is put online for public to check the status & upload relevant documents in case their LPG connection is disconnected.
The existing connections are divided into 3 categories based on the verification. 1. Legal 2. More Verification needed & 3. Illegal. As an initial stage one LPG connection for one Ration Card system is implemented. Based on the new system all illegal LPG connections are discontinued.
Now public can check the LPG Connection status online and upload the relevant documents if you have not submitted earlier. Use the links provided below to check status and submit the relevant documents to CFSCA. So that your LPG Gas connection & supply will remain intact.
