Guest Lecturer Recruitment 2013 - Karnataka DCE. Department of Collegiate Education, www.dce.kar.nic.in Government of Karnataka invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Guest Lecturers on ad-hoc basis for filling the vacancies available in Government First Grade colleges across Karnataka. This time the recruitment process is online and all the aspirants should register their application online providing their personal, educational details. There is also an option to mention up to 4 colleges of preference where the guest lecturers are willing to work.
There are vacancies for 10,300 Guest lecturers in government colleges for subjects like Commerce, Management, Kannada, Sanskrit, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology etc. Currently the total requirement for guest faculty is around 15,000.

Recruitment of Guest Lecturers 2013-14
Name of the Post : Guest Lecturer
Location : Government First Grade Colleges across Karnataka
Education qualification : Candidates applying for guest lecturer jobs in Karnataka Government colleges should have minimum Post Graduate Degree in respective subject. Candidates having Ph.D, M.Phil, NET /SLET qualification will get more weightage in selection process.
Selection Process : Selection of candidates will be done based on Marks/ Weightage. 50 points will be given to the marks scored in qualifying Post Graduate degree. Previous experience in Government college will fetch 1.5 points for each semester up to the maximum of 15 points. Candidates having Ph.D qualification will get 15 points, Having M.Phil qualification will fetch another 8 points and candidates who have cleared NET /SLET exam will gwt another 12 points totaling to 100 points.
Salary : The selected guest lecturers will be paid consolidated monthly remuneration. Guest lecturers, who have cleared National Eligibility Test (NET) or possess a doctoral degree, will be paid a honorarium of Rs 10,000 a month, while those with postgraduate degrees will be entitled to get Rs 8,000 a month.

Guest Faculty for 2013-14 & fill the details. After successful submission of the application, a unique application ID will be generated and sent to the candidates mobile number. The same will be displayed on screen. The candidates should take printout of the application by visiting "Print submitted application" link.

Publication of Selection List : 30th June 2013
The list based on preference of colleges and subject specialization of lecturers will be out by June 30 and between July 10 to July 15 colleges will make their selection based on the list sent to each college.
All selected candidates should submit the original documents at the time of reporting to the allotted college. Each candidate should submit only one application. Submitting multiple application will lead to rejection of candidature. However if there is any correction, candidates can edit the application using the Application ID and password sent to their mobile. One candidate can work for only one government college.
