Qualification : Candidates applying for Pharmacist job at WBSEDCL should have diploma in Pharmacy. For Nurse job, applicant should have completed diploma in General Nursing midwife with registration in authorized nursing council. They should also posses minimum 2 years of post qualification experience in recognized hospital. Candidates having 2 year NCTVT / ITI in electrician / Wire man trade can apply for ITI Trainee vacancy under WBSEDCL Recruitment.

Age Limit : The age of applicants should be more than 18 years and less than 27 years. The upper age limit for candidates applying for Nurse jobis 30 years as on 1/1/12013. The age relaxation available to SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen as per the government rules.

Pay Scale / Salary / Stipend : All selected candidates will be under the pay Scale of Rs. 6300-20,200/- + Grade Pay + Allowances. Pharmacists are eligible for grade pay of Rs. 3,600/- amounting to the monthly salaray of Rs. 20,600/-. Nurse & ITI Trainees are entitled for grade pay of Rs. 2,600/- amounting to monthly pay of Rs, 18,600/-. ITI Trainees will be paid consolidated stipend of Rs. 10,000/- during the training period.

Fees : All General / OBC Candidates should pay Rs. 250/- as recruitment fee. Physically handicapped candidates need to pay only Rs. 150/-. There is no fees for SC/ST Candidates. The fees should be payable through the challan available at WBSEDCL Recruitment Website at near by branch of United Bank of India. 

Candidates selected for Nurse job will be posted to various hospitals attached to Hydel units in Northern Bengal.
