Karnataka CET Counseling / Seat Selection Process for Engineering Courses are postponed. As per the schedule the seat selection should be started from 27th June 2011. But the counseling process is rescheduled to be commence from July 7th, 2011 after 10 days from the earlier date. KEA has notified to all the aspiring students about the reschedule through it’s website and media.

Minister V.S Acharya answered the questions by media that the 35 private engineering colleges are yet to come to an agreement with the Govt. regarding seat sharing so the delay in counseling. Though the commencement of seat selection will be delayed it will be completed in time. The counseling will be held even on Saturdays & Sundays  to complete it on time. Medial counseling will be completed by Aug 8th and Engineering Counseling will be completed by Sept 9th, 2011.

The counseling starts from 7th July 2011 and completes on 3-08-2011. Casual Vacancy Round commences from 12-08-2011 and will be completed by 25-08-2011. For your counseling date and time download the Revised Schedule of Admission Round for Engineering Seat Selection.
