OPSC Odisha Civil Service Exam 2011. Post Published at News Bird http://news.ravisblognet.com. Orissa Public Service Commission (http://opsc.nic.in) invites applications from eligible candidates for Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Examination, 2011 for recruitment to the Posts and Services coming under the Odisha Civil Services (Category-I & Category-II). The candidates successful in this exam will be posted as Odisha Administrative Service (OAS), Odisha Police Service (OPS), Odisha Co-operative Service (OCS), Odisha Revenue Service (ORS), Odisha Taxation & Accounts Service (OT & AS) Officers in various departments of Orissa Government.
Total No. of Vacancies : 364 posts
Age Limit (As on 01-01-2011) : Minimum 21 years – Maximum 32 years (37 years for SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-S).
Examination Fee : Rs.100/- (No Fee for SC/ST) in the form of deposit in the Government Treasury under the Head “0051-PSC-105-State PSC-Examination Fee” or account payee Bank Draft / Pay Order drawn in favour of Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission payable at any scheduled Bank of Cuttack.
Selection Procedure : Odisha Civil Service Exam consists of 3 stages.
The Short Application Form along with a Brochure containing General Instructions for filling up the Form, an Acknowledgement Card and a Special Envelope for sending the application to the Commission’s Office is available at the Office of the Collectors of all the 30 Districts of the State, Office of the A.D.M., Rourkela and Sub-Collector’s Office at Berhampur / Bhubaneswar between 11.00 A.M. & 1.30 P.M. and 2.00 P.M. & 4.00 P.M. on any working day on production of Original Treasury Challan showing payment of Rs.30/-( Rupees thirty) only into Government Treasury in the Head of account –“0051-PSC-105 State PSC-Application Fee” in favour of Special Secretary, Odisha Public Service Commission. The Form along with the aforesaid materials can also be obtained from the Commission’s Office on payment of cash of Rs.30/- (Rupees thirty) only at the counter between 11.00 A.M. & 1.30 P.M. and 2.00 P.M. & 4.00 P.M. on any working day. However, candidates, who are desirous of obtaining the Form through Registered Post, on remittance of Rs.70/- (Rupees seventy) only by Bank Draft/Pay Order drawn in favour of Special Secretary , Odisha Public Service Commission payable at any scheduled Bank at Cuttack with a forwarding letter addressed to the Special Secretary , Odisha Public Service Commission mentioning full name and address of the candidate, Advertisement Number and name of the post/service advertised in BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS.

now the advertisement for OPSC ( Orissa public

exam is out for 2011-2012.
the last date to submit form is 31dec.
But the problem is,
In advertisement it ask to choose one optional subject for preliminary
exam and 2 for main exam.
But the form ask you to enter 2 optional subject
for preliminary and 3 for main. And advertisement say not to leave any column
blank in form.
So my question is - will we follow the advertisement
or the form?
This is making confusion in this kind of reputed
government exam. And also there is no information for the people who
have appeared in
final graduation exam and waiting for result. Can
they apply for this
exam as this required graduation as educational
qualification. This is the regularity in OPSC system. I expect your notice on this matter .

ReplyDeleteOnly OPSC knows the dates...I am sure you all know why is the delay, still let me intimate you guys.
ReplyDeleteDue to some issues in service grade allocation in last exam, high court has put a stay order on the viva exam of 2012 OAS exam although opsc can conduct both prelim & main exam... but these a****s are not conducting...
Sir, I am a B.sc 3rd year student.so can i apply for the OAS/OPS exam?What should be the minimum height of a candidates to appear the OAS/OPS exam?and how can someone collect the previous year question papers?
