Formed under Govt of India, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Sewa Chayan Board (UPMSSCB) looks after the education facilities and new education schemes in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Staff Selection Board constituted as Secondary Education Service Commission at the State level, to select Principals, Lecturers, Head-masters and L.T. Grade teachers, and Secondary Education Selection Boards at the regional level, to select and make available suitable candidates for comparatively lower posts in C.T./J.T.C./B.T.C. Grade for such institutions.

Total no. of Vacancies : 1514 posts
- Prashikshit Snatak (Trained Graduate Teacher - TGT) : 1197 posts in various subjects
- Pravakta (Lecturer): 317 posts in various subjects
Age Limit (As on 01-07-2012) : Minimum 21 years – Maximum 30 years
Pay Scale / Salary: Rs. 15600 - 39100 + Grade Pay Rs. 5400
Education Qualification / Eligibility :
- Prashikshit Snatak (Trainged Graduate Teacher -TGT): Graduate in relevant subject and B.Ed./ L.T/ BT/ Shiksha Shastri etc
- Pravakta (Lecturer): Post Graduate in relevant subject.
Selection process: Written test and Interview.
Application Fee: Rs. 430/- (Rs. 230/- for SC, 130/- for ST) in the form of Bank DD in favour of Secretary, UP Madhyamik Shiksha Sewa Chayan Board, Allahabad purchased from any one of the following Bank branches. State Bank of India / Punjab National Bank / Union Bank of India / Bank of Baroda / Allahabad Bank only.
