NASI Recruitment 2013 - Assistants Vacancy. The National Academy of Sciences, India invites applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistants & Technicians. While Assistant post is a permanent job, Technician job is purely temporary post on contract basis. NASI is the oldest Science Academy & a Scientific Professional Body of India established in 1930 at Allahabad. The main objective of the Academy was to provide a national forum for the publication of research work carried out by Indian scientists and to provide opportunities for exchange of views among them. It is Financially Supported by the Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India; also recognized by the DSIR, Govt. of India as the Scientific & Industrial Research Organization.

Educational Qualification : Candidates having BA / B.Com. / B.Sc. / B.Lib / BE / BCA / ’B’ level course qualification can apply for assistant jobs & Candidates with PG Diploma / Diploma in Electrical or Electronics qualification can apply for technician job.
Experience : 3-5 years experience as an assistant / Technician in any institution of repute.
Age limit : The age of the applicants should be preferably below 35 years as on June 20, 2013.
Pay Scale / Salary : Candidates selected as Assistants will be posted in the Pay band of Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade pay Rs.2400/-. The Technician will get consolidated salary of Rs.20,000/- p.m.
