High Court of Karnataka invites applications in prescribed format from eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistant Librarians & Library Assistants. The Recruitment Rules, Job Requirements & Eligibility Qualifications are provided below.

Name of the Post & Total No. of Vacancies :

• Assistant Librarian – 10 Vacancies
• Library Assistant – 05 Vacancies

Education Qualification : Degree / Diploma in Library Science /SSLC or it's equivalent with 2 years experience in any Government Library or Government recognized Library.

Age Limit : (As on 01.07.2012) Minimum 18 Years - Maximum 35 Years.

Fee : Rs. 250/- (No Fees for SC/ST/Cat-1 Candidates) Payable in the form of Crossed Indian Postal Order in favour of the Registrar General, High Court of Karnataka, Bangalore 560001.

 Pay Scale / Salary :

• Asst. Librarian : Rs. 8000-200-8600-225-9500-250-10500-300-12300-350-14400-400-14800
• Library Asst. : Rs. 6250-125-6500-150-7100-175-7800-200-8600-225-9500-250-10500-300-12000
