Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services of Karnataka (www.ahvs.kar.nic.in) invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Veterinary Assistants to fill the vacancies available in District Veterinary Hospitals, Taluk Veterinary Hospitals, Veterinary Clinics under department of AHVS in Karnataka. The Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per Notification No. CAH:DRC:CR:VA-1:12-13 can apply for Vacancy.

Name of the Post : Veterinary Assistants

Total No. of Vacancies : 642 Posts

Education Qualification : The minimum education qualification for the post of Veterinary Assistant is 2 Years Diploma / JOC in Dairy Development or Poultry Science.

Age Limit (As on 07/01/2013) : Minimum 18 Years - Maximum 35 Years. OBC Candidates upto 38 the age of 38 years & SC/ST/Cat-1 Candidates up to the age of 40 years can also apply.

Pay Scale / Salary : Rs. 11600-200-12000-250-13000-300-14200-350-15600-400-
17200-450-19000-500-21000/-

Selection Procedure : Merit Basis & Reservation basis

Fees : The Recruitment fee is Rs. 300/- for OBC & General Candidates. Rs. 150/- for SC/ST/Cat-1 Candidates.
