Karnataka Health & family welfare department requires Medical Officers & Senior Medical Officers for Karnataka State AIDS Prevention society. KarHFW will conduct walk-in Interview for recruitment of MOs on contractual basis for District hospitals & general hospitals in Karnataka. There are vacancies for 7 SMOs & 16 MOs.

Karnataka State AIDS Prevention Society(KSAPS) is government body working for prevention of HIV in Karnataka Since 1997 under the mission to strengthen the institutions fighting prevention of HIV through implementation of demonstration projects with innovative HIV prevention, care and support components.

Eligibility for Medical Officer Jobs in KSAPS :

Educational Qualification : Candidates applying for Senior Medical Officer (SMO) should have completed MD in Medicine  or Any Clinical Discipline Or MBBS  with Diploma in any Clinical Discipline having minimum 3 years experience.  or MBBS  with Fellowship in HIV Medicine/Diploma in Public Health having 3 years experience. Candidate having only MBBS as qualification can apply for Medical Officer (MO) post

There is Maximum Age limit for candidates applying for MO / SMO Jobs. the age should not more than 62 years as on 01.03.2013.

The Salary for SMO is Rs, 32000 –40000 & for MO is Rs, 25000 –30000.
