ADMISSION TO B.TECH. CORRESPONDENCE-CUM-CONTACT COURSE – 2009-10

JNTU invites Applications from the eligible candidates for admission into B.Tech. (Correspondence – Cum - Contact course) in Civil Engineering., Electrical & Electronics Engineering., Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering offered by School of Continuing and Distance Education, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad - 500 085.

ELIGIBILITY : Candidates (i) should have passed Diploma in the concerned Branch of Engineering or equivalent (ii) should be employed in Andhra Pradesh at the time of application and admission. Admission is based on the rank obtained in the Entrance Examination conducted by University.

GENERAL : Eligibility Criteria, intake in each course, the format of application, general instructions, formats of some certificates, information to candidates, syllabii and time table for entrance test are available on the University website www.jntuh.ac.in Interested candidates can download from the website. (A4 Size). No separate applications are kept for sale by the University. The filled in application along with all necessary documents and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) (not earlier than 05.01.2010) drawn in favour of “THE REGISTRAR JNT UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD”, payable at Hyderabad, on any nationalised bank should reach the “Director, Admissions, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500085” on or before 30.01.2010 by 4.00 pm.

LAST DATE FOR RECEIPT OF APPLICATIONS : 30.01.2010 by 4.00 p.m.

DATE OF ENTRANCE EXAMINATION : 21.02.2010 at 10.00am to 1.00 pm

  2. For correspondence course, you need not be working. It's open for everyone.

    Correspondence courses are mainly for those students who cannot attend the regular classes may be due to employment, or at different place or availability of time.

    Employment is not the necessary criteria for taking correspondence course.
