Govt. of Andhra Pradesh School Education department conducts Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test on 08-01-2012. APTET is the eligibility test for candidates who are intend to be teachers for Class I to Class VIII in schools in Andhra Pradesh. The candidates aspiring to be teachers in Andhra Pradesh are here by informed to apply online for the test & appear for APTET 2012 to be eligible to be appointed as teachers. As per National Council for Education (NCTE) APTET is conducted and now it’s an essential qualification to become teacher in AP.

• Last Date to Apply Online : 26-11-2011
• Payment of Fee : 31-10-2011 to 25-11-2011
• Issue of Hall Tickets : 24-12-2011 onwards.
• Date of APTET 2012 : 08-01-2012 (Sunday)
  • Paper-I : 9:30 AM to 12:00 Noon
  • Paper-II : 2:30 PM to 5:00PM
• Declaration of APTET-2012 Results : 28-01-2012

Eligibility : Candidates who have passed D.Ed / B.Ed / Language Pundith & equivalent qualification

Exam Scheme : There will be two papers in APTET- 2012. Candidates aspiring to be a teacher for Class I to V should take Paper – I. Candidates aspiring to be teachers for Class VI to VIII should take Paper-II.

Fee : Rs. 300/- Payable at e-Seva / AP Online Centers.
