Odisha Public Service Commission invites online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment of Assistant Section officers for Governor's Secretariat and State Secretariat. The Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria as per Advertisement No. 08/2012-13 can apply Online for vacancy. The candidates will be recruited through Odisha Governors Secretariat Service & Odisha Secretariat Service.

Name of the Post : Assistant Section Officer (Group – C)

Total No. of Vacancies : 811 Posts

Education Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.

Age Limit : As on 01st January, 2012 the age of candidates should not be less than 21 years & more than 32 years. That is candidates born after 02/01/1980 & born before 01/01/1991 can only apply for ASO job. However candidates belong to SC/ST/SEBC categories & Women, Ex-Servicemen have 5 years of age relaxation & Physically handicapped candidates have 10 years of age relaxation.

Pay Scale / Salary : The Candidates selected for the post of ASO in Odisha Secretariat will be paid the salary in the pay band of Rs. 9300 – 34800 + Grade Pay of Rs. 4200/-

Selection Procedure : Written Exam – Skill Test

Fees : Rs. 300/- (No Fees for SC/ST Candidates of Odisha) Payable through challan generated after submission of online application at state bank of india.
