Karnataka RDPR to Recruit 1400 PDOs Soon through KPSC

Karnataka Department of Rural Development and Panchayath Raj (RDPR) is going to recruit 1400 PDOs (Panchayath Development Officers) Soon. Last year RDPR has recruited 2500 PDOs. The additional 1400 PDOs will be recruited in next 6 months. KPSC will issue official notification regarding the same within 8-10 days.

Totally 5628 new posts are created as PDOs. Last year around 2500 PDOs are recruited. 1400 PDO recruitment will be done now. The rest of the recruitment is done through internal promotions.
Last year the RDPR department itself conducted recruitment process according the new recruitment rules. But this year KPSC will take this task of recruiting and conducting Competitive exams. The minimum qualification to apply for PDO is any graduation from recognized university.
Pay Scale : Rs.10,000/-250-10,500-300-12,300-350-14,400-400-16800-450-18150/-
Qualification : Any Degree from recognized university or equivalent qualification.
Age Limit : Min. 18 years Max. 35years.
